Since 2003 I have created a variety of handiwork for friends and family. I am now branching out to provide mittens, gloves, hats, bags, and more to anyone interested. Thank you for visiting my blog, please post any comments, questions, concerns or suggestions!

Some Latvian Patterns

These blue mittens are a good example of my modified mitten fit: a tighter cuff and narrower fit in the hand. All the patterns are from a wonderful Latvian pattern book.
This matching hat and mitten set I made for a good friend with one of my favorite patterns. The mittens are a great example of how durable this yarn is: they are over a year old but not pilled or overly fuzzy.

A few examples.

Here are a few examples of my knitting. More to follow soon!

This felted bag I made using my own pattern. The two-strands of yarn felted several times makes for an extremely sturdy tote. Dimensions are: 14" tall x 11.5" wide x 2" deep.

Pattern adapted from a Russian design.

Lace Hat: worsted weight yarn.

Pattern from "Selbuvotter: Biography of Knitting Tradition"
